On the 3rd floor of an Art Nouveau building from 1924, in the administrative center of Split, you will find a spacious four-bedroom apartment with a view of Marjan Hill. The building has preserved the character of the era in which it was built, with a magnificent staircase featuring a wrought-iron railing, an arched entrance portal with decorative glass, and high ceilings that give the apartment air and light.
\n
\nThe apartment faces southwest and is bright throughout the day. The rooms are large and regularly shaped, and the room with the arched windows also has a balcony. The floors are oak herringbone parquet, sanded and varnished, which continues through the spacious hallway. The interior doors, made of larch wood, are original and have been preserved and restored. The kitchen is large and bright, with an original terrazzo floor, and next to it are two practical pantries for storing food and kitchen supplies. Double doors allow one room to be connected to the neighboring room to create one larger space, so the apartment adapts easily to different ways of living.
\n
\nThe height of the space, the thickness of the walls, the quality of the original materials, and the atmosphere of an old city building set this apartment apart from modern construction. The location is extremely practical, as everything needed for daily life is within close reach.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
